When does the compression engage?
General setting are approximately for 85- dB shutoff, however, according to various needs and settings the sounds will be compressed once they hit 85-90dB. These can also be programmed more or less according to the customers’ wants and needs.

Wet and Rain weather conditions?
Sport HEARING models are water resistant, not waterproof or submersible. If you get it wet, try drying it out for a day or two and then call Sport HEARING for help if necessary. Generally, Sport HEARING Products are fine in rainy conditions and only have problems when fully submersed.
How long and what type of Battery do they use?
A standard, size10, hearing aid battery. Which is sold in grocery stores ,mart stores pharmacies, etc. Batteries are rated for 140 hours use

How long is the warranty and how does it work?
Sport HEARING products are covered with a 5 year original manufacturer’s parts warranty and 1 year service warranty. If you are experiencing any problem with our product, please contact our customer service. Should an instrument require factory service, please send the instrument and a copy of your receipt to us along with a brief letter describing the problem, and $19.95 for shipping. Be sure to pack the instrument in a proper container to prevent damage in shipping.

Our “Quick Fit": version is available for over the counter and catalog purchases and fits over 90% of users very comfortably. Customizing the fit of your Sport HEARING products are also available directly through our custom manufacturing facility for the most precise fit. Simply send us impressions (ear molds) that you can have any audiologist make and we will custom fit your Sport HEARING product specifically to your ear canal.
Hearing Test and Custom Programming?
Sport HEARING products come factory programmed for enhanced high frequency amplification (excellent for the outdoors and those people who suffer from high tone hearing loss). Just as the custom fit option, you can also send your instruments directly to us to have them custom programmed to your specific needs. All we need is a recent audiogram (hearing test). Again, call us directly and we will take care of it for you .
